Who is TWIG?

The Woodland Imagination Group (or TWIG!) was set up in 2023 by me; Bethany Matthews. I've been a primary school teacher for 18 years, Forest School Leader for 12 years and lived in and around Huddersfield all my life. Through my own three children I have learnt how being in contact with nature creates joy, inspiration, peace and connection. Now older, they still enjoy the adventure and challenge of the outdoors. I've always wanted to set up and run my own company to share with others my passion for forest school and my enjoyment of being outside in nature. I hope to see you in the woods soon!
